GKIDS is getting their Ghiblifest 2019 event underway this month but they’re also doing some additional promotion for what’s coming in May now that Howl’s Moving Castle has wrapped up. That has the 35th-anniversary screening of the Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind film that is always worth seeing on the big screen year after year. They’ve released a new teaser trailer for it to ramp up some interest and it has us down to see it again. It’ll get its dubbed screening on May 20th, 2019 while the subtitled screening takes place on May 21st, 2019. Get your tickets here.
Plot Concept: After a global war, the seaside kingdom known as the Valley of the Wind remains one of the last strongholds on Earth untouched by a poisonous jungle and the powerful insects that guard it.
