The anime adaptation of the light novels That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime from Fuse and Mitz Vah revealed back in December 2018 that it was going to have some additional life beyond the broadcast side. The official site had revealed that the upcoming 11th volume of the manga adaptation, due out o March 29th, 2019, will have a limited edition release alongside the regular. Unfortunately, the site has now updated to reveal that the limited edition has been canceled and only the regular edition will be coming out. The bundled OAD on DVD has now been set for release with the 13th volume of the manga coming out in December.

Now, another OAD has been scheduled and this one is set to arrive with the 12th volume of the manga that’s out this summer on July 9th, 2019, which is amusing to watch unfold as it’ll be coming out sooner than the OAD that was announced earlier. But it also means two OADs out this year while fans await the second anime series.

The Japanese cast includes Miho Okazaki as RimuruTomoaki Maeno as Veldora, Yumiri Hanamori as ShizuMakoto Furukawa as Benimaru, Sayaka Senbongi as Shuna, M.A.O as Shion, Takuya Eguchi as Sōei, Houchu Ohtsuka as Hakurō, Rina Hidaka as Milim, Megumi Toyoguchi as Great Sage, Junichi Yanagita as Kurobee, Chikahiro Kobayashi as Ranga, Kanehira Yamamoto as Rigurdo, Haruki Ishiya as Rigur, Asuna Tomari as Gobuta, Atsushi Ono as Kaijin, Takuma Terashima as Satoru Mikami, Rie Tanaka as Trainee, Takaya Hashi as the dwarf king Gazeru, Kenjiro Tsuda as the minister Besutaa, Ken Narita as Fyūzu, Itaru Yamamoto as Beruyaado, Ryūichi Kijima as Gido, Akane Kumada as Ellen, and Kengo Takanashi as Kabaru.

The manga, which has just under 5 million copies in print in Japan, began in 2013 and a manga adaptation launched in 2015, both of which are being brought out by Yen Press and Kodansha Comics respectively.
