2 min read

The One Piece train continues on as Avex Pictures handles the Japanese release side of things. The latest release that we talked about previously is an interesting piece with a 20th-anniversary best album CD. It arrived with a March 27th, 2019 debut where it’s priced at 4,968 yen for the first press edition. The CD includes a Blu-ray as part of the first press edition where it has the episodes 1 and 517 from the anime series to highlight. The CD side has three discs with thirty-eight opening and closing sequences brought about for it.

Check out the new promo that Avex has brought out to highlight the release.

Crunchyroll streams the series in the USA, Canada, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and Latin America. FUNimation streams it to the USA and Canada.

Series premise: Enter Monkey D. Luffy, a 17-year-old boy that defies your standard definition of a pirate. Rather than the popular persona of a wicked, hardened, toothless pirate who ransacks villages for fun, Luffy’s reason for being a pirate is one of pure wonder; the thought of an exciting adventure and meeting new and intriguing people, along with finding One Piece, are his reasons of becoming a pirate. Following in the footsteps of his childhood hero, Luffy and his crew travel across the Grand Line, experiencing crazy adventures, unveiling dark mysteries and battling strong enemies, all in order to reach One Piece.
