‘Young Justice: Outsiders’ Sets Midseason Return

1 min read

DC Universe is working through Doom Patrol right now and has Swamp Thing coming up next month but they’ve got some love for the summer season as well. The service revealed during WonderCon this weekend that the third season of Young Justice will have its midseason premiere on July 2nd, 2019. The show returned after three years on January 2nd, 2019 with Young Justice: Outsiders and we had the thirteen episodes roll out over the course of that month with three-episode blocks for most of it.

There’s a lot of potential for the back half of the season as there are hints of a reworked Judas Contract story in the works with it and more.

Plot Concept: DC’s teenage Super Heroes come of age in an animated world of super-powers, Super-Villains and super secrets as the team faces its greatest challenge yet as it takes on meta-human trafficking and the terrifying threat it creates for a society caught in the crossfire of a global and galaxy-wide genetic arms race.
