We learned back in October that this year will have a new adaptation that’s in the wings with Why the hell are you here, Teacher!?. The project comes from the manga by Soboru and the spring 2019 series is now set for an April 7th, 2019 debut in Japan. What’s interesting now is that the seventh volume of the manga that arrives in June 2019 will have the first four episodes on it bundled on DVD and uncensored. It’ll also come with a 32-page full-color booklet, which will be a big plus. Presumably, these episodes will be uncensored on Blu-ray when the series begins its run there but it’s certainly one way to create some additional interest and revenue, and giving something to the fans that may not want to invest all-in on the full series on Blu-ray.
The show is set to be directed by Hikaru Kaneko with Tear Studio handling the animation production. Kazuhiko Tamura is working on character designs.
Shizuka Ishigami as Hikari Hazakura, Nozomi Yamamoto as Takashi Takahashi, Kazutomi Yamamoto as Chizuru Tachibana, and Yūsuke Kobayashi as Kō Tanaka.
The manga from Soboru began in 2016 after having a series of one-shots prior to that. Five volumes are out as of the announcement.

Plot Concept: The series focuses on a male high school student named Ichirō and his female teacher Kojima-sensei, who’s famous for being a “demon teacher.” However, in front of Ichirō, she seems to be air-headed and clumsy, and he keeps finding himself in perverted situations with her in places like the in men’s bathroom, in the men’s bathhouse, in the pool, at the school infirmary, and elsewhere.
