Warner Bros. Redeveloping ‘Methusaleh’ For Michael B. Jordan

The story focuses on a man who has managed to survive for hundreds of years, without showing the physical signs of age.

With a number of strong properties that he’s engaged in, it’s no surprise that Warner Bros. would look to develop a film around Michael B. Jordan at this point. The studio has been trying to bring their Methuselah story to screen for some time with a number of writers and actors involved at different stages, but nothing ever got off the ground. It’s not an adaptation of Robert A. Heinlein’s Methuselah’s Children, which I had kind of hoped for at first. This film is being looked at as franchise potential and being likened to Highlander in some basic ways.

The project has Jordan’s Outlier Society production company involved with producers David Heyman and Jeffrey Clifford of Heyday.

Plot Concept:  The story focuses on a man who has managed to survive for hundreds of years, without showing the physical signs of age. In that time, he has accumulated vast intellectual knowledge, from multiple languages to the sciences, as well as survival skills.
