The Cencoroll Connect project has now rolled out a new teaser trailer ahead of its June 29th, 2019 debut in Japan. It’s an intriguing project with Atsuya Uki writing, directing, and designing it which began back in 2009 and had promised that the sequel would hit in 2014. 2019 is a bit off but it’s finally arriving and the taser spot for it looks fantastic.

The Japanese cast includes:

  • Kana Hanazawa as Yuki
  • Hiro Shimono as Tetsu
  • Ryohei Kimura as Shū
  • Satomi Moriya as Kei
  • Natsumi Takamori as Kaname, a girl who came to Tetsu’s town to pursue Shū. She also controls creatures similar to Cenco
  • Kenji Akabane as Gotōda, a member of the mysterious organization supporting Kaname

Plot Concept: A giant monster sends a town’s citizens into a panic — except for a girl named Yuki and her schoolmate Tetsu. Tetsu happens to have his own strange creature named Cenco as a pet. Another boy named Shū controls the monster threatening the town, and the stage is set for a battle.
