We learned recently about a new anime series that’s in the works for a summer 2019 debut with Granblem. We had gotten a lot of the basics sets for it already but now it’s updated as part of AnimeJapan 2019 with the addition of Yoko Hikasa and Yurika Kubo to the series. We also have a new nearly two-minute promo for the project and a new key visual below – along with some additional cuteness.

The series has Masaharu Watanabe directing based on the scripts by Jukki Hanada. Shinichirou Otsuka is on board for the character designs and Nexus is handling the animation production.

The Japanese cast includes:

  • Miyuri Shimabukuro as Mangetsu Kohinata
  • Atsumi Tanezaki as Shingetsu Ernesta Fukami
  • Yōko Hikasa as Anna Fugo
  • Yurika Kubo as Nene Rin

Atsumi Tanezaki posted a cute visual of the four actresses together with the key visual:

Uru will be coming on to perform the ending theme song. This marks the fourth theme song for them, which includes the recent Legend of Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These opening theme song. Check out their official site where they have some of the videos available or directly at their official YouTube channel.

Plot Concept: Taking place in a world that long ago featured the existence of magic, but has long since lost that ability, it begins when high school student Mangetsu Kohinata meets Shingetsu Ernesta Fukami, who has migrated back to Japan from Germany, on a night with a full moon.
