‘Dr. Stone’ Anime Unveils Two New Promos

The series tells the story of Taiju, who wakes up hundreds of years after all of humanity was turned to stone.

With Viz Media bringing out the Dr. Stone manga series from Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi, the anime adaptation is set for the summer 2019 season in July and new updates are coming in. The latest update to drop is a pair of promos showing off the cast as well as some of the theme song “Chemical Boys” from Yuki Kanesaka. They both clock in at just about 100-seconds each. Shinya Iino directing based on the series composition by Yuichiro Kido. Yuko Iwasa ius handling the character designs for it.

The Japanese cast includes Yusuke Kobayashi as Senku, Makoto Furukawa as Taiju Ōki, Kana Ichinose as Yuzuriha Ogawa, and Yūichi Nakamura as Tsukasa Shishio.

Plot Concept: The series tells the story of Taiju, who wakes up hundreds of years after all of humanity was turned to stone. A gloomy Taiju has no idea what to do, until he finds his science-loving friend Senku. The two decide to jump-start civilization again – by harnessing the power of science to de-petrify humanity.
