The winter 2019 anime series Kemurikusa is getting its home video releases handled by Movic and they’ve set a shortened run for it. The twelve episode series is getting a three-volume release that begins on March 29th, 2019 and we now have the first artwork preview for the set, which is pretty enticing. The Blu-ray-only release has each volume priced at 7,000 yen. TATSUKI and the Taoyorozu studio will be working on this TV adaptation of TATSUKI’s previously self-produced original anime short Kemurikusa by doing an expanded and more fleshed out version of the project that was done between 2010 and 2012.

The Japanese cast includes Mikako Komatsu as Rin, Arisa Kiyoto as Ritsu, Tomomi Jiena Sumi as Rina, and Kenji Nojima as Wakaba.

Plot Concept: A story about three sisters struggling to survive in a desolate world surrounded by decaying buildings and red fog. The story revolves around Rin, a girl with an updo. There’s also Ritsu, the big sister who has cat ears and is always calm, and Rina, the innocent, cheerful one dressed in a maid’s costume. Just what is it that these sisters are after in this mysterious world?
