Tokyo, Japan – March 20, 2019 – AnimeJapan Organization announces the highlights of world’s biggest anime event AnimeJapan 2019 and Anime Family Festa 2019, that will take place between March 23 (Sat) to 26 (Tue) in Tokyo Big Sight.
This year’s exhibition area is the biggest ever with 163 companies exhibiting on 1040 exhibition units. The number of announced exhibiting titles reaches 167, and with news on popular and newest anime titles, merchandise sales, stage programs with popular voice actors, this year’s contents will be even more interesting than ever.
We are also preparing many attractions around this year’s theme of ROCK.
On-site tickets will be on sale at Tokyo Big Sight from 5:00 on both days.

World’s famous guitar maker Gibson is collaborating with “Sword Art Online – Alicization” to create a special guitar. There is only such guitar in the world and you can buy it through a charity auction organized at the venue.

A Rock Cosplay Area!
Last year’s popular Cosplay Parade will once again walk through the halls of AnimeJapan. The parade is planned to start at Cosplayer’s World on 15:00 on both days.
Additionally, a cosplay club was created this year by the members of AnimeJapan Organization. For the few months before AnimeJapan the members did their best in making anime weapons. This year in the Food Park we will be hosting the Love Live! Sunshine!! Kitchen cars! Original coasters are prepared for those who order food and drinks.
Crepe, curry, tacos, and other menu will also be served from various other kitchen cars. Don’t forget to take a break in the Food Park while enjoying all AnimeJapan attractions.
