‘Nakanohito Genome [Jikkyouchuu]’ Anime Adaptation Sets Season Premiere

We learned back in May that the Nakanohito Genome [Jikkyouchuu] manga will be getting an anime adaptation and some new details have arrived for it. The official site has now set it for a July 2019 premiere with a new key visual added. We also got some new cast additions as well. Shin Oonuma will be directing it based on the series composition by Kento Shimoyama. Mizuki Takahashi is handling the character designs with Silver Link working on the animation production.

The newly announced Japanese cast includes:

  • Manaka Iwami as Himiko Inaba
  • Takuma Terashima as Makino Aikawa
  • Kaori Nazuka as Yuzu Roromori
  • Kenjiro Tsuda as Paka

The previously announced Japanese cast includes:

  • Daiki Yamashita as Akatsuki Iride
  • Akari Kitō as Karin Sarayashiki
  • Takuya Satō as Kaikoku Onigasaki
  • Tasuku Hatanaka as Anya Kudō
  • Kouki Uchiyama as Zakuro Oshigiri

The property comes from creator Osora that began in October 2014 on the Gene pixiv site. Print releases began in 2015 with seven volumes out so far.

The imposed objective of the game is to clear several games and achieve one hundred million views. Akatsuki, along with eight other charismatic gamers are gathered, as they challenge the mysterious game world by putting their lives on the line.
