1 min read

It’s been forever since TOKYOPOP brought out the first four volumes of the Full Metal Panic novel series but now J-Novel Club has stepped up to bring the property out. The publisher revealed this weekend that they’ve acquired the rights to the twelve-novel series with hopes of being able to not only bring that out but the sequel and spinoff series if the support is there. The release will naturally be a completely new translation of the novels and they’ll be bringing out their publication plans soon for it.

Plot Concept: Jindai High School was a relatively safe place, right up until Sousuke Sagara transferred there. A total nut, he wreaks havoc on the school’s student body and gets into a world of trouble with the teachers! But there’s more to Sousuke than meets the eye—not just a hell-raising student, he’s actually a member of an elite military unit, on an undercover mission to protect the beautiful schoolgirl Kaname Chidori from the KGB.
