We learned back in March 2018 with the launch of the official site that the Sarazanmai series is set for an April 2019 as part of the Noitamina block. Fuji TV had their big presentation in Japan today and they revealed a new promotional video for it that comes in at 95-seconds as well as revealing an April 11th, 2019 debut as part of the Noitamina block. The series is directed by Kunihiko Ikuhara it was written by him and Teruko Utsumi for the overall composition. Nobuyuki Takeuchi is serving as the chief director and Kyoko Ishikawa is adapting Migi’s designs for the work.
The Japanese cast includes:

- Shun Horie as Enta Jinnouchi
- Junichi Suwabe as Keppi

Plot Concept: The stage is Asakusa.
One day, three second-year middle school students — Kazuki Yasaka, Toi Kuji, and Enta Jinai — meet a kappa-like creature named Keppi, who is the self-proclaimed heir to the throne of Kappa Kingdom. Keppi forcibly takes the students’ shirikodama (a mythical organ kappa steal through a person’s anus) and they are transformed into kappa. Keppi informs them, “If you want to return to your former selves, you need to connect in ‘that way’ and you must bring me the shirikodama of zombies.” Will the three boys be able to connect and take the shirikodama of zombies?
At the same time, two policemen, Reo Niiboshi and Mabu Akutsu, try to do something at the police box where they are stationed.
