
It’s always great news when a new Lupin the 3rd project is announced and this one is intriguing. The full launch has hit for the Lupin the 3rd: Fujiko Mine’s Lie feature film which is scheduled to land on May 31st, 2019 in Japan. This is part of the recent “trilogy” of feature films that begin with Jigen’s Gravestone and was followed up by Goemon Ishikawa’s Sprawy of Blood. The film puts Fujiko frnt and center and we have the key visual and trailer for it.
The film is directed by Takeshi Koike with a screenplay by Yuya Takahashi, both of whom worked on the two prior films. Animation production was done by Telecom Animation Film. The Japanese cast includes Miyuki Sawashiro as the titular Fujiko Mine, Kanichi Kurita as Lupin, and Kiyoshi Kobayashi as Daisuke Jigen.
