It looks like the folks at SuBLime Manga have given up on updating their site/blog at this point and are putting all of their announcements just on Twitter as there are no press releases either. The publisher revealed by tweet earlier this week that they’ve picked up the 2007 yaoi manga series Seven Days: Monday – Thursday and Seven Days: Friday – Sunday for English release. They’re going to be released as a single volume with plans for it to arrive in December 2019 in both print and digital form.
The property comes from writer Venio Tachibana and artist Rihito Takarai which was done in 2007 and 2009 respectively. It did receive a drama CD and two live-action films as well as the manga previously seeing a release through Digital Manga Publishing.
Plot Concept: The original story follows Yuzuru, a disillusioned senior who asks the school’s most infamous student, Tōji, out as a half-hearted joke. The rumor goes that Tōji will earnestly date the first person to ask him out at the beginning of the week. But Tōji takes him seriously, and Yuzuru goes along with it, expecting it to be like the rest – a relationship begun on a Monday, and abruptly ended by the following Sunday. What he doesn’t expect is the romantic feelings that start to emerge.
