Originally serialized in Comic X-Eros from the February 2019 installment, Leave It to Sasamine-san! is a twenty-page story from creator Satozaki, who has six other works on the service. This marked my first experience with this particular creator and it’s one that has me clicking on follow for the creator. I really like the amount of story material that Satozaki put into this so that it feels a bit more realized and there’s also the obvious allure of the character designs. While I do think the male side could use a bit more work in general, the book has a great look with some good details to backgrounds in the earlier part before it just shifts to the action itself, which is where things get a bit more minimal in that regard.
The premise for this is a fun one as we see the end of a work shift at an adult film producing company. The actual film work for the day has been done and that’s left the office with Taki and Sasamine, who handle the censoring side of things. While there’s an automated aspect to it you also have to go in and do things manually. Taki’s not the best of workers and is pretty lazy so he’s just struggling to get the job done. Especially since Sasamine is there and even as hot a figure as she has, he can’t stand her because she’s so strict. The reality is that she’s just being mostly professional and focusing on the work while he just realizes he can’t go rub one out because she’s there. It’s not the best of situations and both of them are pretty frustrated with the other and how long all of this is going to take.
So, when Taki does sneak off to one of the offices upstairs to take care of himself, he’s surprised to find that she’s in there in the dark taking care of herself. It plays out in true porn fashion with him laughing at her about this compared to the image she presents, but it gets down to business quickly – so much so that even Taki is surprised. The awkwardness at the start is what it is but once the two find their rhythm it’s pretty damn fun. Taki tries to play a bit of a superior role here to some of her denials but she’s just so into it, having spent a day keeping in control while working on porn, that she’s unable to here. Saotzaki’s artwork is fantastic with a great design for Sasamine that works really well, even with her being so overly endowed here. That’s usually something that doesn’t play well in hentai for me with how it’s treated, and Taki certainly takes note of it, but Satozaki’s artwork and his approach to dealing with Sasamine works well, especially with lots of appealing clothing elements and all.
In Summary
While the sex in this is a bit vanilla when you get down to it, the setup and trappings of the scene itself are pretty spot on and delightful. I ended up checking this out because of the setting when the story was tweeted and it definitely made for some fun in how everything gets underway. Taki needed a bit more visual definition but with the combination of good story elements, great character designs, and some really enjoyable action that feels pretty friendly to new and old fans alike of hentai, this is a very easy recommendation to make in trying out and exploring more of their work.
