Set for an April 12, 2019 debut, the rebooted Hellboy film hasn’t had a whole lot of deep promotion for it considering how close it is. With that in mind, Lionsgate has now brought out the second trailer for the film where we get the standard green banner edition that will play in most theaters as well as a red band that shows a bit more of the violence and language aspects. With two films done previously by Guillermo del Toro, there’s a lot of attention in looking to see how it’s different but the reality is that they all worked from the same source material by Mike Mignola so there’s going to be a whole lot of similarities to be had here.
Directed by Neil Marshall, the film stars David Harbour, Milla Jovovich, Ian McShane, Sasha Lane, and Daniel Dae Kim.
Plot Concept: Hellboy prepares to stop an ancient medieval sorceress who seeks to destroy all of mankind.
