The folks at XFLAG and Tatsunoko Production are getting together for something new as they recently announced the Pandora and Yawn project. Set for a spring 2019 debut, it’s been revealed for an April 5th, 2019 debut at the EJ Anime Theater before opening a week later in four other theaters. The film has Jun Soga directing with Keisuke Okura serving as both the chief animation director and the character designer.
The two leads for the film are Yui Ogura as Pandora and Sally Amaki as Akubi. The film is split in half with the first half also starring Yuko Kaida as Louise (Doronjo), Hiroyuki Yoshino as Gō Mifune (Speed Racer), and Masuo Amada as Braiking Boss while the second half includes Mutsumi Tamura as Kanna, Masashi Ebara as Mysterious Monster, and Kenjiro Tsuda as Winter Spirit.
Shiggy Jr. is performing the opening song D.A.Y.S and the ending song B.U.R.N.

Plot Concept: Pandora and Akubi are crossing dimensions to collect the “fragments of disaster,” which have the power to destroy worlds. The first half of the film takes place in the setting of an American Western and the second half of the film takes place on a snowy mountain where mysterious spirits exist.
