The 2017 anime feature film Kimi no Koe o Todoketai received a German release this month and Peppermint Anime is showing it off with a new dub clip. This one comes in at just under two minutes and gives us a pretty nice time as we get a little singing and recording going on, nervousness and all. The title saw a February 22nd, 2019 debut where it received separate DVD and Blu-ray editions. It’s a bilingual release with a German dub included along with German subtitles for the Japanese language track. No extras look to be listed at the moment.

The project is in conjunction with Touhoku Shinsha with Naoyuki Itou slated as the director working from the script by Manabu Ishikawa. Toshinao Aoki is handling the character designs for it.

The Japanese cast includes Momone Iwabuchi as Shizuku Dobashi, Yuki Tanaka as Kaede Tatsunokuchi, Misako Iino as Yū Hamasuka, Mina Katahira as Nagisa Yukiai, Mitsuho Kambe as Ayame Nakahara, Hitomi Suzuki as Otoha Biwakōji, and Suzuko Mimori as Shion Yazawa.

Plot Concept: The story depicts the worries, conflicts, and dreams of a high school girl in Shōnan, a bayside area of Kanagawa Prefecture south of Tokyo. Nagisa, a girl who is a little impatient because she cannot find her future calling, wanders into a mini FM radio station that has been disused for several years. On impulse, she tries to become a DJ, and her broadcasted words by chance unexpectedly reach people.
