‘Asoko Araiya no Shigoto ~Kataomoi Chū no Aitsu to Onnayu de~’ Manga Getting Anime TV Adaptation

Son Sōta Tsukishima begins working at his family's public bathhouse as a back washer. While concealing her true identity, Sōta's classmate Aoi Yuzuki visits the bathhouse. A relationship between the two begins to develop when Sōta washes Aoi's back.

A new anime adaptation is on the way with the April 7th, 2019 debut of Asoko Araiya no Shigoto, whose full title translates out as A Job Washing There: In the Women’s Bath With Her in Unrequited Love. The adult manga comes from Toyo and is set for a Tokyo MX debut in a cleaner version for the shorts while a more “complete” edition will land on the ComicFesta Anime Zone site. The show has Mitsutaka Noshitani directing based on the series composition by Kazuhiro Toda. Nanashi serves as both the character design and chief animation director with Magic Bus producing the animation.

The Japanese cast includes:

  • Ai Kitano as Aoi Yuzuki
  • Kaina Honma as Sōta Tsukishima
  • Ayaka Igasaki as Mei Sasakura
  • Tetsuto Furukawa as Hidemoto Takasugi
