Marvel Comics has been getting things in order for this year after their acquisition of the Conan comics rights with what they’re launching. One of those books kicked off this week with the new Savage Sword of Conan series. The new ongoing comes from writer Gerry Duggan and artist Ron Garney to deal with what the title says, a more savage version of the character with a darker and meatier approach to the stories. The book is kicking off with a five-issue story arc that has covers by Alex Ross, which just look fantastic, and now Marvel has a new launch trailer for it where they talk with those involved and the approach to the book, which definitely ramps up interest.
