‘Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki’ Anime Cast Expands As Series Premiere Scheduled

We learned back in May 2018 that the manga series Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki by Masaki Ando is getting an anime adaptation and things are now getting serious.

We learned back in May 2018 that the manga series Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki by Masaki Ando is getting an anime adaptation and things are now getting serious. The latest update comes with a new key visual you can see below as well as a premiere date of April 4th, 2019. Additionally, it was revealed that Mitsuhiro Ichiki has joined as Kaito Jin and Hisako Tojo as Haka Jin.

The series is set with Hisayoshi Hirasawa directing it with Satsuki Hayasaka as the character designer. Saetta is listed as working on the animation with Creators in the Pack cooperating.

The Japanese cast so far includes Haruka Tomatsu as Monaka Yatogame, Yuki Wakai as Mai Tadakusa, and Mikako Komatsu as Yanna Sasatus.

The manga has been serialized in the Monthly Comic Rex magazine and has over 200,000 copies sold so far.

Plot Concept: The series deals with the life of Yatogame-chan, a girl who speaks in the blunt Nagoya dialect. It highlights regional cultural differences from the area of Nagoya, Aichi.
