‘Namu Amida Bu! -Rendai Utena-‘ Anime Sets Premiere With New Promo

With a game project slated for release in the winter 2019 season, DMM previously revealed that an anime adaptation of the Namu Amida Bu! -Rendai Utena- project will land sometime in 2019. The show has now gotten an update with a new promotional video that shows off more of the series as well as setting an April 2019 debut for it. Akira Oguro is directing it based on the series composition by Erika Yoshida. Asahi Production is handling the animation production.

The Japanese cast includes:

Plot Concept: The story follows the Thirteen Buddha, along with Taishakuten and Bonten, who must confront the evil Māra. Māra seeks revenge against Shaka Nyorai, who had previously saved the world from suffering and conflict by achieving enlightenment.
