The DC Universe may not have a ton of original content out of the gate that wasn’t available before but they’re delivering stronger with each month. Last year saw Titans as the main project while January gave us the first half of the Young Justice: Outsiders series. February delivered the Reign of the Supermen animated film and this year still has Stargirl, Swamp Thing, and the Harley Quinn animated series. But before that, we have Doom Patrol.
The Doom Patrol group got some attention during the Titans run with an episode focused on them which got things jazzed enough to move forward with a series of its own. Some recasting went into it, which included bringing in Timothy Dalton as the Chief, and now we have a new teaser trailer for it that highlights the action, gives us our first look at Alan Tudyk as Mr. Nobody, and nails the tone beautifully ahead of its February 15th, 2019 premiere date.
The cast includes Timothy Dalton as Niles Caulder, Jake Michaels as Robotman, Dwain Murphy as Negative Man, Diane Guerrero as Crazy Lane, Brendan Fraser as Robotman, and April Bowlby is playing Elasti-Girl. Alan Tudyk is playing the first season villain of Mr. Nobody.
The Doom Patrol’s members each suffered horrible accidents that gave them superhuman abilities — but also left them scarred and disfigured. Traumatized and downtrodden, the team found purpose through The Chief, who brought them together to investigate the weirdest phenomena in existence — and to protect Earth from what they find.

Plot Concept: The Doom Patrol’s members each suffered horrible accidents that gave them superhuman abilities — but also left them scarred and disfigured. Traumatized and downtrodden, the team found purpose through The Chief, who brought them together to investigate the weirdest phenomena in existence — and to protect Earth from what they find. Part support group, part Super Hero team, the Doom Patrol is a band of super-powered freaks who fight for a world that wants nothing to do with them. Picking up after the events of Titans, Doom Patrol will find these reluctant heroes in a place they never expected to be, called to action by none other than Cyborg, who comes to them with a mission hard to refuse, but with a warning that is hard to ignore: their lives will never, ever be the same.
