The fall 2018 anime series Double Decker! Dug & Kiril is getting its home video releases handled by Bandai Visual and they’ve set a solid schedule for it. With the focus on the three additional episodes that are being bundled as an EXTRA volume later this spring dominating lately, Bandai is now highlighting the release of the second volume that came out just about a week ago. The single-cour show is getting a three-volume release that began on November 22nd, 2018 and now we have a look at the packaging for the second volume that arrives on January 29th, 2019. The DVD sets are priced at 9,000 yen each while the Blu-rays are at 10,000 yen each. Check the full schedule below.
The series was directed by Takeshi Furuta based on the series composition by Tomohiro Suzuki. Ryou Andou worked on the series direction while Masakazu Katsura handled the character designs. Sunrise is handling the animation as this fits into the “Buddy Series” project similar to Tiger & Bunny.
The Japanese cast includes Satoshi Mikami as Doug Billingham, Kouhei Amasaki as Kirill Wrubel, Saori Hayami as Deena Del Rio, Chika Anzai as Catherine “Kei” Rochefort, Yo Taichi as Maxine “Max” Silverstone, Atsumi Tanezaki as Yuri Fujishiro, Rikiya Koyama as Travis Murphy, Aya Endo as Sophie, and Takuma Nagatsuka as Apple.

Plot concept: The city-state Risvaletta. In the shadow of this city with two suns where people go about their tranquil everyday lives, crimes and illegal drugs run rampant. Above all, a dangerous, highly-fatal drug named “Anthem” is casting a dark shadow on the streets. The “Seven-O” special criminal investigation unit, whose speciality is to supervise the investigation of Anthem, institutes a “Double Decker System” policy of forming groups of two investigators. Doug Billingham is a veteran investigator. And now arriving at his side is Kirill Vrubel, whose true ability as an investigator is unknown. An aloof veteran detective who is hard to get a read on, and a rookie detective who is too eager and often takes actions in vain. The story of this unconventional detective duo starts now.
