Madman Entertainment has picked up the Australian rights to the Star Blazers: Space Battleship Yamato series and have scheduled their releases for it. With the show released in two halves in the North American market, Madman is doing the same but bringing them both out on the same day, May 8th, 2019. Both are DVD/BD combo sets and are priced at $69.95 each. Both sets come with episode commentaries and promo videoes as well as two specials called The New Frontier that looks into the show over its long life. Additionally, the second set has the clean opening and closings and a look at how the Yamato was designed.
