The 2015 flash anime movie Complex x Complex is finally getting a home video release as Frontier Works has now scheduled a DVD-only release. The 24-minute film is set for a May 29th,2019 release priced at 2,000 yen. It’s solicited at 42 minutes as it includes some bonus material including a 13-minute making of-piece as well as an audio commentary.
The film was written and directed by Miyuki Fukuda who handled the animation for it at PANPOLOPINA. The Japanese cast includes Kanae Hayashi as Yui Kotani, Seigo Agatsuma as Masato Takeo, Fuka Haruna as Fumi Nakamura, Haruka Yamaguchi as Yui’s sister, Masataka Okada as Teacher, Mina Hiroe as Yui’s mother, and Naoto Takeda as Yui’s father.
Plot Concept: The story follows the protagonist girl Yui Kotani, a second-year junior high school student who is obsessed with men’s underarm hair, and the relationship with her male classmate Masato Takeo who has the thickest underarm hair in the class.
