New ‘L♥DK’ Live-Action Film Trailer Arrives

We saw the release of the last chapter of the L♥DK from Ayu Watanabe back in 2017 where everything wrapped up with the 24th and final compiled volume out on October 13th, 2017. With the film set for a March 21st, 2019 debut, a new trailer has arrived for the project with the theme sone highlighting it. The film is directed by Yasuhiro Kawamura based n the screenplay by Michiru Egashira.

The Japanese cast includes Mone Kamishiraishi as Aoi Nishimori and Yōsuke Sugino as Shūsei Kugayama.

The series kicked off back in 2009 in Bessatsu Friend magazine and has been picked up for release in North America through Kodansha Comics who has ten volumes out so far. A live-action film was produced in 2014 along with a drama CD.

Plot Concept: Aoi Nishimori is a high school girl who lives alone in her own apartment, but to her surprise, she discovers that the prince of her school, Shusei Kugayama, has moved in next door! To add to this, a series of crazy happenings result in the two living together under a single roof! Shusei is known to be a heartless guy and Aoi particularly hates him after he coldly rejected her best friend, so a life of cohabitation seems like a recipe for disaster. And yet, Aoi somehow can’t stop her heart from pounding when she’s with Shusei…
