Toei Schedules The ‘Dimension High School’ Anime DVD/BD Releases

The winter 2019 hybrid live-action and anime series Super-Dimensional Revolution Anime – Dimension High School is getting its Japanese home video releases handled by Toei and they’ve set a shortened plan. The twelve episode series is getting a three-volume release that begins on April 10th, 2019. The DVDs are priced at 5,500 yen each while the Blu-rays are priced at 6,500 yen each. It was directed by Yuuichi Abe with Izumi who will also be handled the character designs.

The Japanese cast includes Takuma Zaiki as Gōda Kikawa, Shōhei Hashimoto as Yurio Minakami, Takahide Ishii as Junpei Shirayama, Takeo Ōtsuka as Ryūsei Midorigaoka, and Toshiyuki Someya as Sōji Momotani.

Plot Concept: One day, on his way to high school, student Junpei picks up an unusual looking rock. Thinking nothing of it, he heads to class. While in the middle of a session, the rock comes to life and transports him and four others to an animated world! To make matters more interesting, the group is introduced to a giant sphinx who is determined to take over the world! Now, to protect their world from invasion, the group must work together as anime characters and real-world humans!
