The latest round of anime has been released and the rankings for what was sold between January 7th and 13th, 2019 has landed. It’s another very light week and there are some disappointments to be had, though most of what makes up the Blu-ray side are box set releases so that’s skewed a bit. The good news is that Zombieland Saga keeps adding to its totals, but the second volume final numbers will be key. The latest Sailor Moon S collection picks up 1,314 units sold while Fate/Extra: Last Encore with its sixth volume takes the top spot.
Kyoto Animation’s Tsurune debuted to a weak 838 units and that really has us wishing they’d pick some new angle for what titles they adapt. The Gakuen Basara first box landed to 334 units while Wicket City with its Blu-ray release came in at 443 units sold.
