The summer 2018 anime series Free! -Dive to the Future- is getting its home video releases handled by Pony Canyon Japan and they’ve set a standard schedule for it. The fifth volume is about to arrive on January 16th, 2019 and we’ve got a good look now at the covers for it and the full packaging spread. The single-season series is getting a six-volume release that began on September 26th, 2018. The DVDs are priced at 6,800 yen for the first volume and 6,000 each for the rest while the Blu-ray’s are at 7,800 yen and 7,000 yen respectively. Check the schedule below.
This season was directed by Eisaku Kawanami with Masahiro Yokotani handling the scripts. Futoshi Nishiya served as the character designer and chief animation director with Kyoto Animation handling the production.
The Japanese cast includes Daisuke Hirakawa as Rei Ryugazaki, Mamoru Miyano as Rin Matsuoka, Nobunaga Shimazaki as Haruka Nanase, Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Makoto Tachibana, Tsubasa Yonaga as Nagisa Hazuki, Akeno Watanabe as Gō Matsuoka, Hiroshi Yanaka as Gorō Sasabe, Kenjiro Tsuda as Seijūrō Mikoshiba, Satsuki Yukino as Miho Amakata, Atsushi Abe as Romio Hayahune, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Shizuru Isurugi, and Ryou Hirohashi as Ayumu Kunikida.
