Chi gets into mischief

What They Say:
Chi is a sweet playful kitten, always full of energy. She gets milk from Yohei, and is relaxing at home, nice and full. As she searches around the house for something exciting, she comes across Yohei walking with a handful of rubber balls. The balls bounce everywhere as he drops them, and Yohei and Chi can’t get more excited. The day ends with Chi and the family making a great memory together.

It was definitely amusing to see more of Blackie training Chi and Come-Come on the finer points of being a cat in the outdoors, even if it lead to more comedy about how they couldn’t take down the pigeons most of the time. Blackie’s a character that I’m still somewhat mixed on but tend to lean toward liking more than anything else simply because he’s not a staid stuck-up type of teacher and elder. He’s enjoying watching the younger ones and helping them on their path – even when they frustrate the hell out of him. And the two he deals with more than anything else do end up getting bored quickly most of the time, giving him some respite.

Chi and Come-Come this time around are joined by Anne and Telly and are full of mischief. They’re tackling the tails of other cats in the park, starting with Blackie, and enjoying the life that the tails have. Most of the elder cats just play along but it’s just fun watching this pack of kittens on the prowl for a good time in the area and getting into it. Their fun is causing trouble but the way they look so excitedly about much of it is so enjoyable. But it also gets tinged with more, such as Come-Come watching the siblings and remembering his own sister that was lost to him before, which helps to showcase the pseudo-family that they’ve become here. The silliness simply increases as time goes on, however, and that makes for a good episode.

In Summary:
Chasing the tails of other cats, knocking over water bottles on walls, hanging a ride on the roof of a car together? These are just some of the things that the kittens get into here while having a blast – and a panic sometimes. They’re both in the park and out and there’s always something to get into and the chance at some food as well. I’m not a fan of Anne and Telly getting involved all the time but they’re brought in irregularly enough that it works. That allows me to enjoy watching time between Chi and Come-Come a lot as the two of them are just a hoot to watch together as they are in this episode.
