The holidays have pushed back some of the usual weekly reporting a bit and we’re now taking a look at what was selling in the manga and light novel markets for the week ending December 30th, 2018. This week saw most of the top ten being titles with second-week sales as no really big titles dropped new volumes. March Comes in Like a Lion took the top spot again with 173,000 units to bring it to just under 500,000 since it launched but the second place spot saw Chibi Maruko-chan jumping in as a new book at 92,741 units while Kuubo Ibuki with its latest volume at 89,259. One Piece is a hair away from getting to the two million mark while Attack on Titan crossed the one million mark.
On the light novel side, the newest Re:Zero novel hits us up with 28,000 units which are close to what the newest Aria of the Scarlet Ammo does. Sword Art Online also does well here with it getting closer to crossing the 200,000 mark with its latest ongoing volume.
