The next expansion in the Gundam Build Fighters and the Try franchise got underway this spring with the multi-cour project called Gundam Build Divers. With it running well, the second box set out on December 21st, 2018 and in addition to that we’ve also got the DVD-singles side served up with the fifth and sixth volumes – and we now have the artwork for those releases below.

Shinya Watada is directing it based on the series composition by Noboru Kimura. Kazuhiro Hara did the original character designs with Juri Today adapting them. Check out the promo below as well as the hour-long press conference in full.

The Japanese cast includes Yuusuke Kobayashi as Riku Mikami, Natsumi Fujiwara as Yukio Hidaka, Nene Hieda as Momo, Haruka Terui as Sarah, Jun Kasama as Kyouya Kujou, and Show Hayami as Ronman.

Plot Concept: Gunpla Battle Nexus Online (GBN) is a new network game that lets people enjoy a variety of missions using Gunpla in a virtual cyberspace dimension. Middle-school students Riku Mikami and Yukio Hidaka recruit their classmate Momoka Yashiro and dive together into this vast world. Becoming “Divers,” or inhabitants of GBN, they meet a mysterious girl named Sarah who has an amazing sensitivity to Gunpla. They begin playing alongside her, but… Through many encounters and experiences, Riku and his friends will build not only Gunpla, but their own adventures as well!
