‘Circlet Princess’ Anime Cast Expands

It’s only been a few months since we learned that DMM Pictures was bringing out a new project with the Circlet Princess game getting an adaptation. With the series set to premiere on January 8th, 2019 on Tokyo MX, the official site has now brought out the reveal of Ryo Horikawa joining the project as Siegfried, the AI that’s in the circlet itself. We also got some great key pieces of character artwork over the last week or so to check out. The show will be directed by Hideki Tachibana based on the series composition by Nachi Kio. Kazuyuki Yamayoshi is working on the character designs with Silver Link handling the animation production.

The previously announced Japanese cast includes Juri Nagatsuma as Yūka Sasaki, Saki Nakajima as Miyuki Kasahara, Hitomi Nabatame as Reina Kuroda, Kaori Mizuhashi as Ayumu Aizawa, Mai Goto as Nina Avelin, Atsumi Tanezaki as Chikage Fujimura, Natsuki Aikawa as Takane Hibino, Sachie Hirai as Sarina Sekiguchi, Yuna Taniguchi as Hiyori Sugiura, Megumi Tateishi as Kasumi Iida, Nozomi Chikamura as Akira Tsunemi, Yuka Maruyama as Arisa Hara, Aya Fujita as Christie Yamauchi, and Harumi Sakurai as Kaoru Yoshimura.

Plot Concept: Based on the game of the same name, the series focuses on a team of high school girls from Saint Union Academy who pursues the sport of Circlet Bout.
