We learned back in October that 2019 will have a new adaptation that’s in the wings with Why the hell are you here, Teacher!?. The project comes from the manga by Soboru and we now have a new key visual to the right for it, which will certainly get attention. We also have some cast additions with Yuko Goto as Mayu Matsukaze and Toshiki Masuda as Rin Suzuki.
The previously announced cast includes Sumire Uesaka as Kana Kojima and Ryouta Suzuki as Ichiro Sato.
The show is set to be directed by Hikaru Kaneko with Tear Studio handling the animation production. Kazuhiko Tamura is working on the character designs.
The manga from Soboru began in 2016 after having a series of one-shots prior to that. Five volumes are out as of the announcement.
Check out the official site and Twitter.
Plot Concept: The series focuses on a male high school student named Ichirō and his female teacher Kojima-sensei, who’s famous for being a “demon teacher.” However, in front of Ichirō, she seems to be air-headed and clumsy, and he keeps finding himself in perverted situations with her in places like the in men’s bathroom, in the men’s bathhouse, in the pool, at the school infirmary, and elsewhere.
