Exploring the idea of what makes an idol the last time around was fun but this episode sets things up for the fans as the 315 Productions is gearing up for a trip to the hot springs. That means lots of pretty boys from different bands getting together for it. It’s made up of a significant roll call at the start that made them all entirely forgettable for me since it deals with so many so quickly with just a quick word or phrase before shifting to the next one. It does serve as a good way to showcase all the characters and their cute chibi designs. But it also takes up the entire episode and that means no actual hot spring time.
In Summary:
Such a tease! With the three minute episode focusing on introducing all of the characters and giving a nod to some of their personality quirks or costume quirks, it’s got some amusement to it but it just sticks to the familiar. They’re not even done up in hot spring or trip mode but are just wearing their normal clothes. So fans get to see the whole range of characters, of which there are a lot, but nothing really special is put together for them until they’re all bundled together at the very end.
