Funimation & Crunchyroll Sets March 2019 Anime DVD/BD Release slate

With some quiet release months here and there around this time of the year, Funimation is looking to make a huge splash in March as they have almost thirty releases out. With the joint licenses and such in effect for quite some time to come in regards to the home video side, as it looks like there are a lot of winter 2019 series that are part of the agreement prior to the dissolution of the partnership, we can expect a lot of Crunchyroll titles distributed for some time to come. March brings us six series getting releases with no re-releases in the mix, making for a really big event. The Funimation side goes up to nineteen releases with a number of essentials in the mix. Interesting things to note are that the Code Geass movie collection is getting a steelbook but it’s a subtitled-only release. We’re seeing the My Hero Academia film release a month or so after the Japanese release. And thank goodness we’re getting more Star Blazers!
