With this episode, we get a trio of guys from the F-LAGS group heading back to cook after picking up lots of ingredients and their excitement is palpable. They’re connecting with the Jupiter group guys in order to do this so we get a big kitchen of six together, which naturally includes a bit of singing along the way, as they start working all the ingredients. Which at times can be a little odd as someone is fascinated by the mushrooms. It plays out much as you’d expect with admiration and silliness in the mix as it’s not a competitive cooking event but rather six friends just getting together. It’s not without its bit of drama, however, simply because there must be but even that’s cute when it comes to the time involved in getting it all done.
In Summary:
I still have zero connection to these characters since they’re barely even names to me – never mind groups – but episodes like this are cute enough in seeing the way they put the meal together. They’re kept to chibi mode for the whole thing but it works well to deliver the cuteness of them with the positive nature of what they’re doing along with the camaraderie.
