First Live-Action ‘Monster Hunter’ Official Image Arrives

With a live-action film for Monster Hunter kicking around since 2012, things got official in 2016 and production ran from late 2017 into early 2018 before shifting focus to the special effects. The film is currently undated but a new official image has landed for it that shows the two leads on the move in the sands. Check out the image below!

The film is directed by Paul W.S. Anderson who also wrote the screenplay for it based on the game by Capcom and is distributed by SCreen Gems in the US.

The cast includes Milla Jovovich as Captain Natalie Artemis, Tony Jaa as The Hunter, Clifford “T.I.” Harris, Jr. as Link, Ron Perlman as Admiral, Diego Boneta, and Meagan Good.

Plot Concept: Behind our world, there is another: a world of dangerous and powerful monsters that rule their domain with deadly ferocity. When Lt. Artemis (Milla Jovovich) and her loyal soldiers are transported from our world to the new world, the unflappable lieutenant receives the shock of her life. In her desperate battle for survival against enormous enemies with incredible powers and unstoppable, revolting attacks, Artemis will team up with a mysterious man who has found a way to fight back.
