Funimation has another series that’s been ported over to the Crackle service as part of their deal with Shimoneta: A Boring World Where the Concept of Dirty Jokes Doesn’t Exist being the latest one. The series is in its English dubbed form.

Check out our review of the North American release.

The series was directed by Youhei Suzuki based on the scripts by Masahiro Yokotoani and with character designs by Masahiro Fuji. The series was animated by JC Staff. The Japanese cast includes Shizuka Ishigami as Ayame Kajō, Yūsuke Kobayashi as Tanukichi Okuma, Miyu Matsuki as Anna Ninomiya, Saori Goto as Hyōka Fuwa, Satomi Arai as Otome Saotome, Kenta Miyake as Raiki Gōriki, Yui Horie as Kosuri Onigashira, Sumire Uesaka as Oboro Tsukimigusa and Yui Ogura as Binkan-chan.

The English cast includes Jamie Marchi as Ayame, Josh Grelle as Tanukichi, David Wald as Goriki, Monica Rial as Anna, Brittney Karbowski as Otome, Lara Woodhull as Kosuri, Mikaela Krantz as Hyoka, Anthony Bowling as White Peak and Christopher Sabat as Narrator/Base Black.

The light novel series comes from Hirotaka Akagi under the Gagaga Bunko imprint with illustrations by Eight Shimotsuki. It began back in 2012 and has multiple volumes published so far, as well as a manga adaptation.

Plot concept: 16 years after the “Law for Public Order and Morals in Healthy Child-Raising” banned coarse language in the country, Tanukichi Okuma enrolls in the country’s leading elite public morals school and is soon invited into the Anti-Societal Organization (SOX) by its founder, Ayame Kajou. As a member blackmailed into joining by Ayame, Tanukichi ends up taking part in obscene acts of terrorism against the talented student council president Anna (for whom Tanukichi has a crush on).
