The latest rankings have come down with what’s selling in Japan on DVD and Blu-ray and it’s certainly a quiet week overall but with a lot of titles doing better than we’ve seen lately. With so many weeks showing titles selling under 1,000 units, having the top twenty all above that is a welcome change even if some aren’t’ quite as high as you’d want them to be. The biggest seller is the Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms special edition that hits just over 9,000 units in limited form and another 3,200 in regular form. New projects this week includes the debuts for Overlord and Revue Starlight along with the Banana Fish first set. We also get the debut of the Yu Yu Hakusho box that moves some good copies.
