What They Say
It’s a face-off between Luxuria masters, as Lilith and Anna battle it out! There’s only room for one of them in Trinity Seven–who will reign supreme? In the world of Demise, Arin and Hijiri partner up on an important quest–rescuing Arata! He’s sleeping deep within the halls of the Terminus Library. Will the power of true love be able to wake him from his slumber…?

Content: (please note that content portions of a review may contain spoilers):
Lilith isn’t messing around any longer. She has manifested the “Daughter of a Demon Lord” Demon Lord Factor to boost her Magus Mode beyond anything she ever believed possible. Just attempting it would rip a normal magus apart, but she is the daughter of Demon Lord Luxuria.

No matter how strong Lilith may be after her power-up, it is going to take Arata to get himself out of his magical prison in the World of Demise. Luckily for him, he has the Trinity Seven and others that care enough for him to put themselves in harm’s way for a chance to rescue him. For some of the girls, their sacrifice is much greater than the others and it surprises even me when Mira steps up for the sake of Arata. I guess it just shows how much of a good guy Arata is if he can even melt the heart of someone as strict as Mira.

Not surprising, but Arata manages to escape from his prison and drop right back into the battle between Lilith and the Saint of Revival, Anna. His reappearance will easily tip the tide of the battle back in favor of the Trinity Seven. But, he also manages to create two simultaneous Breakdown Phenomenons! Plus, he must either destroy Anna or figure out a way to save her and everyone from the Breakdown Phenomenons at the same time. But if Arata saves Anna, will that doom Lilith since they are both the master of Luxuria?

In Summary:
Since the beginning of this series, I have appreciated Arata’s bold openness about his pervy dreams. He is quick to joke with the women around him about getting naughty, and the girl’s reactions are plenty humorous. It is a unique angle compared to most of the protagonists in shonen series that are shy whenever a girl makes a move on them. However, what I enjoy more is that Arata is genuinely a nice guy hiding behind his openness about being a horny dude. He is quick to help those around him no matter how much it puts himself in a dangerous position.

Early on, I’ll admit, the magic power jargon could get overwhelming. But the series humor continues to revolve around the sexual tension among the members of Trinity Seven and the cheesecake and scattered bits of nudity easily overshadow the drag some of the magic mechanics and naming conventions can create. I look forward to seeing where (and who) Arata ends up at (with).
