AsianCrush has added another series that we saw get a home video release from Discotek Media previously as they now have the entire 43 episode run of GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka available on their service as of today in its English subtitled form. The series originally ran back in 1999 and 2000. What we get here is available for free viewing through the service and I believe it’s available through their app as well.
The series is available to audiences in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Denmark, and the Netherlands.
Plot concept: Meet Eikichi Onizuka, a 22-year-old ex-biker and college karate champ. He’s crude, foul-mouthed, and has a hair-trigger temper. His goal: to be the greatest high school teacher in the world! Unfortunately, the only teaching job available is at Holy Forest Academy (no certification required). There he uses his street smarts to deal with colleagues and students alike.
