Kuma Holdings Streams Dubbed ‘Kono Danshi, Sekika ni Nayandemasu’ Anime Trailer

Under the name This Boy Suffers from Crystallization, Kuma Holdings now has Soubi Yamamoto’s Kono Danshi, Sekika ni Nayandemasu OVA up for sale on iTunes and Amazon where the former has both dub and sub and the latter just the dub. To get it some additional attention, Kuma Holdings is now streaming a dubbed trailer for it.

Yamamoto’s works in the last couples of years have seen pickups with Sentai Filmworks bringing out the independent releases of This Boy Can Fight Aliens! and This Boy Caught a Merman as well as her first mainstream series with Meganebu. The OVA previously got a DVD only release on December 3rd, 2014 which and hasn’t seen any further licensing since then.

Crunchyroll is streaming the subtitled version of the OVA is for their members in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.

Yamamoto handled the script based on the original work and is directing it as well.

Plot Concept: Tamari Ayumu suffers from Crystallization Syndrome, a crippling illness which causes his body to start turning to crystals whenever he becomes anxious or depressed. He chases after the romantic affections of his teacher, Onihara Koya, who spurns him at every turn, unwilling to accept love from a student. This is a story from auteur anime director Soubi Yamamoto about anxiety, depression, and love.
