The latest round of sales information has landed out of Japan with what’s moving on the home video front and it’s one of those impressive weeks. With almost 58,000 units on Blu-ray and another 48,000 units on DVD, the 22nd Case Closed feature film has arrived and reaffirms why they put this out so regularly as they do very well and are almost evergreen titles as well.
Once you get past that release things top out at about 2,100 units with the latest Fate/Extra release and a little bit less for Golden Kamuy. The first Aikatsu Friendsbox set lands with almost 900 units while the first Gegege no Kitarou box set from the 2018 series hits almost 800 units.
