I hate the start of a new season. Even more so when a convention falls during it because everything is out of whack. The familiarity of schedule that I’ve had for the last twelve or thirteen weeks is gone. There’s uncertainty as to what I’ll be watching since I only do shorts and those start at all sorts of times and aren’t as well announced. And it just feels empty in trying to get a rhythm down with what I do every day for the first two weeks or so.
That made this past week crazy with random batches of new announcements and some shows starting up. I also didn’t get to tackle as much anime because I watched a longer set in Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure with its second set, which was also my first time watching the property since the OVAs came out back in the early 2000’s.
That means I’m really behind with what’s coming up in the next few days as only two things are in final stages of editing and scheduling with:
Princess Principal regular edition from Sentai Filmworks that was a lot more fun than I expected
and Planeterian. This was interesting in that it was both an OVA and film project but the combined film side has almost twenty minutes additional material that really changed the feel of it.
I do have my next project to tackle as I took in two episodes of this on Friday and will be digging into more of it on Monday.
