The anime adaptation of the yuri manga series Bloom into You received the green light back in April and it was recently scheduled with an October 5th, 2018 premiere in Japan. As we’re closing in on that, the show has now found a home overseas as Sentai Filmworks has picked up the rights to it. They’ll be revealing their streaming plans soon as well as an eventual home video release. They retain the rights to it in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, Spain, Portugal, and Latin America
The project is based on the manga by Nio Nakatani and has Makoto Kato directing based on the scripts by Jukki Hanada. Hiroaki Gohda is handling the character designs with animation production at TROYCA.
The Japanese cast includes Yūki Takada as Yuu Koito, Minako Kotobuki as Touko Nanami, Ai Kayano as Sayaka Saeki, and Taichi Ichikawa as Seiji Maki.
The manga, which is available through Seven Seas Entertainment in English, began in 2015 and has five volumes out so far in Japan and four in North America.
