2 min read

Kodansha Comics has lined up their next digital manga sale with a look at properties that they have that were made into anime this past summer. That has four series that are definitely a lot of fun to check out with books on sale for about 45% off or so with them at $5.99 – some of which are available for borrowing if you’re a ComiXology Unlimited member. The sale runs through September 24th, 2018 and the titles include:

Attack on Titan: In this post-apocalyptic sci-fi story, humanity has been devastated by the bizarre, giant humanoids known as the Titans. Little is known about where they came from or why they are bent on consuming mankind. Seemingly unintelligent, they have roamed the world for years, killing everyone they see. For the past century, what’s left of man has hidden in a giant, three-walled city. People believe their 100-meter-high walls will protect them from the Titans, but the sudden appearance of an immense Titan is about to change everything.

Cells at Work: A BLOOD-PUMPING JOB Strep throat! Hay fever! Influenza! The world is a dangerous place for a red blood cell just trying to get her deliveries finished. Fortunately, she’s not alone… she’s got a whole human body’s worth of cells ready to help out! The mysterious white blood cell, the buff and brash killer T cell, the nerdy neuron, even the cute little platelets — everyone’s got to come together if they want to keep you healthy!

Back Street Girls: Will you give up being human? Or will you become an idol? A trio of yakuza achieve the impossible and debut as idols—and become a hit! Under the guidance of their fiendish and overcontrolling boss, three former yakuza men undergo a complete makeover and debut as the back street girl idols “Gokudols.” In their dressing room, they drink alcohol and gamble, but in front of their fans, they’re idols through and through. The idol gag manga “without honor” that everyone’s talking about has finally been released. Is this what Japan’s idol industry has come to?!

Grand Blue Dreaming: After moving out on his own to a seaside town, Iori Kitahara makes a college debut he never anticipated. A new chapter of his life unfolds, full of diving with beautiful girls and shenanigans with a gaggle of lovable bastards! Idiot expert Kenji Inoue and au-naturel authority Kimitake Yoshioka bring you a glorious college tale filled with booze-fueled antics!
